It is rich in fiber content, both insoluble and soluble, that helps in the digestion of food. Bowel is made solid by fiber which adds weight and bulk to it making it easier to pass through the digestive tract. Though there is a warning that eating too much granola may cause some problems despite the health benefits mentioned. This is because this is carbohydrate essentially being cooked in fat and produces chemicals that cannot be digested by the body. Puffed rice that acts as filler has no nutritional value and could give you empty calories.
