This has led to rise of Gopher trap which are a more natural approach in catching these irritating animals. The best way you can locate the areas that the gophers have decided to set up camp is by the gophers hills in gardens and farms. These in turn are the best areas that one can set up these confines as they ensure that you catch as many gophers as possible. Ensure that you set the confines in all the gophers hills that you are able to see as they have a tendency of relocating and setting up more gophers hills.

If the hills are two or more, take time and ascertain where to put the gophers confine. A stick can assist you in knowing where the tunnel is correctly and how to place the confine. Avoid putting up a confine if the hills exceed three avoid setting the confine because the gophers will be in an easier position to learn about the mountains. Gophers can make holes below the confine and to get right with this; you should only put the confine in the hills that have not been dug.

A Talpex confine can be hidden using a bucket made of metal, but it has to be placed in an upside down direction.
