For nonresidents, they will be taxed on the income they earned in Spain instead. The rate of which will be done on a flat rate basis. For persons living in certain European countries, they will be taxed at nineteen percent while individuals originating from other areas are subjected to twenty four percent. For nonresident land owners, they will still need to submit a tax return which is subject to rates at a national and local level. The latter of which depends on the region they are residing in. Such property does not have to be rented out for it to be subjected to calculations although this might vary.
